We are The Booty Bay Swim Team! Our guild was founded towards the end of 10.1, with the goal in mind to play with respect to every one of our raiders' time. We firmly embrace this mentality in our team, as we hold one another accountable for the same standards equally. While our guild may be relatively young, we have seen amazing progress so far, going from US Region 600 in Aberrus, all the way to US Region 369 for Amirdrassil. We truly believe that our mentality is what inspires our raid to keep improving tier-to-tier, and we're hoping to foster an environment over time that can keep improving on this goal as we move towards The War Within.

As stated earlier, our core philosophy in The Booty Bay Swim Team is that we are all expected to play with respect to everyone's time. What this idea means to us can be summed up in a few short points:

• Research not only the encounter, but also your class. You don't need to be an expert, but you should understand the basics of the encounter.
• Come prepared with enchants, any consumables that aren't provided, and a good head on your shoulders. Constructive criticism should be a welcomed concept, as we are a team and hold one another accountable for their mistakes. We are here to grow as players, not stagnate ourselves.
• Be capable of playing every specialization of your class for your role. Ex: a DPS DK would be expected to be capable of playing either Frost and Unholy depending on the encounter.

We do provide extensive information regarding every encounter for the current raid tier. Likewise, we develop in-depth raid-plans as well for the more difficult encounters. Not only do we try to supply the tools necessary for our raiders to succeed, but we also provide consumables such as vantus runes, flasks and potions.

Our community is relatively young, but it is made up of many long-time friends who've known each other for several tiers now. We try to keep an active community amongst not only our raiders, but our more casual members as well as friends who may not be in the guild itself. You can expect to not have to look very hard to find people interested in keys, PvP, and even casual collecting here in The Booty Bay Swim Team.
